SOL Retreat!
It's been a busy couple weeks for us and all of the SOLs. On top of our normal load of Orientations, we had a fantastic day at our retreat this past Friday. It was a great day to build up the already strong relationships among the team but it also allowed us to blow off some steam through some friendly competition. The morning was filled with refresher training and reflections on how the summer has gone so far. There were definitely tears as everyone shared how meaningful the experience has been so far. Then we totally switched gears as we moved into the afternoon. We split into our SOC mentor teams to create banners and role calls, followed by a variety of field day games. All the teams played well and I think it is safe to say that everyone had fun! Definitely a great way to kick off the weekend!
